About CMR & EBMEDS®

CMR - Comprehensive Medication Review

The CMR gives an evidence based summary and visual overview of analysed interactions. By entering information on the patient, the diagnostics and the medication, you get an evaluation of the risk calculations, renal function, drug-drug interactions, indications and contraindications and drug restrictions during pregnancy and lactation, if applicable.

The CMR is specifically of value for elderly patients with multipharmacy and/or patients with comorbidities. It is an integral part of the EBMEDS® clinical decision support and gives access to medication information and evidence based guidelines in English, French and Dutch.

Whereas EBMEDS® is to be integrated in an existing electronic health record, the CMR is a stand-alone tool. You can either import a SUMEHR or enter the information manually. No personal information is treated by the system, only physical information such as age, gender, weight and creatinine is considered. The medication review is generated in just a few clicks.
